Hello everyone! As is tradition, the ECSS Winter Ball is returning this season to bring joy and fun memories. Send the year away with a night of dining, dancing and partying at The Grand on Tuesday, 2nd December. Dress up in your finest formal gowns, dine with a two-course meal and dance your heart away at the ECSS Winter Ball. The Winter Ball has been an iconic part of ECS for decades: a staple of every ECS student's experience - you wouldn't want to miss out! We've also booked a professional photographer to capture the moments throughout the night Event Details: 📅 Tuesday, 2nd December 🕖 19:00 - 01:30 📌 The Grand, SO14 3AS 🎟️ Tickets link: bellow Photography 📸 Please note that there will be photography at the event. If you do not wish to be photographed or included in the official release, please let us know at the door. Dress Code 🤵 The dress code is black tie optional. This is a formal event, so we strongly encourage formal attire, but please dress up as much as you can! For the confused: a shirt, tie and some smart trousers; or a smart flowing dress. Plus Ones 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 You're welcome to bring a +1 to the ball. You must purchase a ticket for them with your own. The plus one can be any individual - regardless of degree or whether they're at the University or not. They must be 18 or over. For insurance reasons, please make sure you are member of the Society on SUSU (we will check!) Allergies 🍜 We've separated the tickets into four categories - Regular, Halal, Vegan/Veggie, and Gluten-free. If you feel like the menu set does not suit your allergy/preference, please email us with your query. For people with nut-allergies - please let us know if you have such an allergy and we will notify the venue, but they are not a nut-free kitchen.
